#2 Clark State Community College 3 - #7 Lindenwood-Belleville 5

BUTLER, PA- The Lindenwood-Belleville Lynx won their second game of the day, defeating the second-seeded Clark State Community College Eagles 5-3. The Lynx would win again needing to come from behind. The Eagles jumped out to an early 2-0 lead on RBI singles from Corey Miller and Travis Francis in the second inning. Clark State added another run in the third on an RBI groundout from Trent Pugh.

It was a sloppy fourth inning doomed the Eagles. Dylan Skinne led with a single for the Lynx. Christian Cavaness then reached on a throwing error. After an RBI single from Cody Walker, another throwing error allowed Cavaness to score. A groundout by Tyler Ford advanced Walker and Mirek Sharp, who both scored on a double from Keeney. Keeney added an RBI single in the fifth inning and Lynx pitcher David Parkinson would do the rest, going seven innings, and giving up only three runs on three hits. Clark State pitcher Cameron Ward went 7 innings from the Eagles giving up five runs (two earned) and striking out six Lynx batters.

Lindenwood-Belleville advances to play University of Cincinnati-Clermont in the third round at 1:30 on Tuesday. Clark State Community College will move to the Loser's Bracket  where they will face the loser of Penn College versus Southern Virginia University.
