#4 Selma University 4 - #5 Penn State Greater Allegheny 10

BUTLER, PA- Penn State Greater Allegheny earned a measure of revenge, defeating Selma University to move into the fourth day of the USCAA Small College world Series. After being shut out by the Bulldogs on Monday, the Nittany Lions turned the tables and won 10-2, producing the highest scoring output of any team in the tournament thus far.

The scoring for the Nittany Lions started in the second with an RBI double from Clay Groff. Mike Visloski singled in a run in the third. Penn State Greater Allegheny then tacked on three more runs in the fourth, two coming on an RBI single from Adam Wehr. The Lions would add five more runs in the top of the sixth inning on RBI's from Alente Johnson, Visloski, Sam Weightman, and Jose Bonilla.

Selma University struggled on the mound. Starter Daniel Torres lasted only four innings, giving up five runs (four earned) and allowing seven hits. In relief, Mitchell Webb allowed five runs in three innings. Webb (2-4, two stolen bases) and Kevin Quinones (2-3) led the Bulldogs at the plate, combining for all four Selma RBI's.

Penn State Greater Allegheny's starter Matt Klena went 4.2 innings, allowing just two runs and getting the win. Visloski continued his blistering play in the tournament going 3-4 with two RBI's. Wehr, Groff, and Weightman added two hits apiece for the Lions. Penn State Greater Allegheny will face number one overall seed The Apprentice School at 11:00 AM on Thursday for a chance to play in the finals.
